Kameron Looft - University Student with Risk Management Experience

Kameron Looft is working toward his BBA in risk management and insurance at the University of Georgia. A HOPE and Kimberly-Clark Bright Futures college scholarship recipient, he has completed coursework in areas such as business management and principles of risk management. Kameron Looft has successfully applied curriculum elements to his work with the Beta Lambda Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

As a member of the fraternity’s risk management team, Mr. Looft took a close look at fraternity operations, identified liability risks, and set in place mitigation strategies. He devised safety protocols for activities such as new member onboarding and social events, and ensured that the chapter adhered with university and nationwide risk policies. He also worked to document incidents as they occurred.

Kameron Looft’s background includes a role providing guest services with Fairway Social in Alpharetta, Georgia. Responsible for operational logistics and reservation scheduling, he took steps to boost efficiency and enhance guest satisfaction. He also facilitated networking opportunities among industry professionals at corporate events.
